Conversation is one of Constitution Hill?s Public Programs strands that explore the lives, public roles and contributions made by some of South Africa?s prominent citizens and emphasizes the country?s rich socio cultural and political fabric through the lives of these individuals.

Constitution Hill will be hosting this two-way dialogue with radio personality Nonn Botha from Kaya FM as our conversant. She will be deliberating her views based on the theme Nonn is passionate about public broadcasting and she is ready for the world to hear her voice and her story. Through her job she also gives motivational talks to high school children.

Ndumiso Dlamini, a professional artist, director and writer with an incredible expertise in drama and conversation will moderate and engage the audience in this discussion. This exciting program will take place on the 28th August 2007 at Old Fort Conference Room, Constitution Hill, from 18h00 to 20h30. Seats are limited (RSVP:visitorscentre@constitutionhill.org.za)

Constitution Hill is a unique mixed-use development in the Inner City of Johannesburg and the new home of the Constitutional Court, the protector of our basic rights and freedoms. Constitution Hill is also the site of Johannesburg?s notorious Old Fort Prison Complex, commonly known as Number Four, where thousands of ordinary people were brutally punished before the dawn of democracy in 1994. Many of South Africa?s leading political activists, including Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, were detained here.

In addition to the permanent exhibitions, interactive experiences and educational programs, Constitution Hill offers venues for hire, location for film shoot, day and night tours, a full calendar of public programs and exhibitions that bring the site to life and enable the public to connect with the activities of the Constitutional Court.
